Founded with a simple mission — “healthy food for less” — our journey began with a moment that should have been joyful but revealed a real gap in the market. While my wife was in hospital giving birth to our daughter, we spent several days on the ward for postnatal observations.

Late one night, feeling hungry during the quiet hours while watching over our newborn daughter in her cot, I wandered downstairs in search of something to eat. At 2:00am, the only option was a vending machine.

What I found was shocking: high prices and a selection full of sugary, highly processed snacks — the kind of food that gives you a quick spike, no nourishment, and certainly nothing resembling a healthy choice. I walked away disappointed, wondering how we’d reached a point where a chocolate bar in a hospital cost so much, yet offered so little.

It was then the idea took shape.

Most vending machines are filled with convenience, not care. We wanted to change that — by offering affordable, health‑conscious snacks to the UK workforce and wider community. Real food options that don’t break the bank. Snacks that nourish rather than punish.

And so our mission began.
